In a recent documentary titled Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous, the renowned musician Honey Singh shared intriguing details about his collaboration with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan for the film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’. The documentary, which chronicles the highs and lows of Honey Singh’s life, features an appearance by Salman Khan himself.

Let’s Dance Chotu Motu

The song in question is “Let’s Dance Chotu Motu.” In the documentary, Honey Singh recounted how Salman Khan reached out to him with a request to rap for the track. “Salman Khan sent me this song. This song is made, and he wants me to rap in it. He is shooting for the song in the next two days. I have gotten this opportunity to sing this song, and he has also asked me if I want to rap in this song. So, we will see,” Honey Singh explained.

As the camera shifted to Honey Singh listening to the song, he quickly realized the need for a rap component, stating, “We will have to come up with a rap for the song.”

The highlight of the segment was when Salman Khan elaborated on why he chose Honey Singh for the project. “I was shooting for Bhaijaan in Hyderabad, and I had this thought, so I gave it to Honey. He went to the studio, and in half an hour, he finished the rap. Then I requested Honey to come and be in the song with us. It’s a really cool song for kids,” the actor shared.

Directed by Mozez Singh, Honey Singh’s documentary began streaming on Netflix on December 20. The film highlights Honey Singh’s successful transition into Bollywood, where he created hit songs for major films, including “Lungi Dance” from Chennai Express, “Party All Night” from Boss, and “High Heels” from Ki & Ka, which significantly boosted his career.
