Global icon Rihanna, who graced Gujarat to dazzle at the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, bid adieu to India on Saturday morning. Ahead of her departure, the music sensation engaged with the paparazzi, expressing her affection for India and sharing upbeat comments about the event.
Social media buzzed with videos and images of Rihanna at Jamnagar airport. In one video, as she stepped out of her car, she responded affirmatively when asked if she loved India. When questioned about the show, she enthusiastically declared, “The show was the best. I haven’t done a real show in eight years. So, I wanna come back.”
Rihanna’s performance at Anant-Radhika’s pre-wedding celebration on the inaugural day showcased her timeless hits, including Rude Boy, Pour it Up, Diamonds, and Wild Things, among others.
Adorned in a vivid fluorescent green, shimmering bodycon outfit, Rihanna expressed her gratitude to the Ambani family during her on-stage address, stating, “Thanks to the Ambani family, I’m here tonight… In honor of Anant and Radhika’s wedding… Thank you for having me here. May God bless your union. I wish you all the best. Congratulations.”
According to reports, the singer commanded a fee exceeding ₹50 crore for her stellar performance. On February 29, she arrived in Jamnagar with her entourage, including a 12-foot suitcase. Guests from across the globe have convened in Jamnagar to partake in the pre-wedding festivities celebrating the union of Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son, Anant, and the daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, Radhika Merchant.
