Rescue operation gets over in Atal tunnel

Amid heavy snowfall after eight-hour long rescue operation where hundreds of tourist vehicles were stranded at the Atal tunnel under the Rohtang Pass. A joint operation was launched from Keylong, Manali, ATR South Portal, and North Portal which lasted for eight hours. Earlier on Thursday night, the incident was reported. Meanwhile, to supervise various units. DSP Lahaul, DSP Manali, HO Manali, and SHO Keylong were present. However, from the south portal of Rohtang Tunnel, 400 vehicles were rescued safely.
