Ramban witnesses transformation, says Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh

Ramban, once plagued by traffic congestion and infrastructure challenges, has undergone a significant transformation with the development of crucial highways, bridges, tunnels, educational institutions, and railway connectivity over the past decade, credited to equitable resource distribution under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

Speaking at a massive public rally to garner support for the BJP ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh highlighted the infrastructural metamorphosis witnessed by Ramban under the Modi government. He emphasized that under previous administrations, vital projects like the Maitra Bridge were neglected, only to be initiated and completed under the Modi administration, without regard for political considerations.

Dr. Jitendra Singh noted the construction of the Jaswal Bridge as another significant achievement, replacing an aging structure to ensure the safety and convenience of commuters. He praised the expeditious completion of projects such as the new bypass flyover, easing traffic congestion during events like the Amarnath Yatra.

Pointing to landmarks like the Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee tunnel and the new Qazigund tunnel, Dr. Jitendra Singh highlighted the infrastructural advancements that have significantly improved connectivity in the region.

He underscored ongoing efforts to further enhance connectivity with projects like the National Highway expansion and the introduction of lavender cultivation along highways, emphasizing the potential for economic growth and environmental sustainability.

Reflecting on the past neglect of the region, Dr. Jitendra Singh emphasized the significance of recent developments, attributing their realization to the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and the representation of BJP in the Lok Sabha Constituency.

The rally, attended by former MLA Neelam Langeh, BJP President Rajeshwar, and other senior leaders, resonated with a sense of optimism for the future of Ramban, propelled by infrastructural advancements and equitable development initiatives.
