Rajasthan Cong set for quick leadership reshuffle

According to sources, the party is trying to bring an immediate change this time to eliminate the atmosphere of disappointment. In this regard, a decision might be made in the coming days, bringing a new president and legislative party leader for Rajasthan. If this happens, it will be a surprising decision because the party has a tradition of making decisions slowly.

However, the party is considering convening a working committee meeting to review the defeats. Rahul Gandhi is preparing for a foreign tour from December 9. He will be visiting four or five countries. It remains to be seen whether Rahul announces changes in the states before December 9 or hands over the responsibility to the acting president.

There is talk of a quick decision regarding Rajasthan. The way Jitendra Singh is active in Jaipur and his involvement in pre-election activities, he might be made the new head of the state. Being close to the Gandhi family, he is also close to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. As for the state president, Govind Singh Dotasra, there is a possibility of giving him a significant responsibility, either as the legislative party leader or in the AICC.
