Congress’ National General Secretary, Priyanka Gandhi, is set to embark on a tour of Rajasthan on September 10. She will address an election rally in the Niwai constituency of Tonk district.
This comes after recent visits by Rahul Gandhi, who addressed a rally in the Wagad region of Rajasthan, and Mallikarjun Kharge, the National President of Congress, who visited the state on September 6. Priyanka Gandhi is expected to conduct a series of election rallies in different districts in the upcoming days. Rajasthan is entering its assembly elections soon, and the parties are actively campaigning in the state to gain voters. The opposition is also playing on the foot front by organizing Parivartan Yatras in the state. Priyanka Gandhi’s visit may be a strategic move by the Congress to strengthen its position in Rajasthan.
