The President of India had made three appointments to the Central Administrative Tribunal, CAT for its Srinagar and Jammu benches respectively.
The President of India Chose the Senior AdvocateMir Syed Latif, Senior Advocate Rajinder Singh Dogra, and Sanjeev Gupta, District Judge as the Judicial Member for this important position.
It has been stated in an official order issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, the appointments are effective for a duration of four years, wherein it stated that the date they assume office or until the age of 67, thus, whichever event occurs earlier. The term and conditions which governs the appointment of them as the Judicial Members will be strictly governed as per the stipulations outlined in the Tribunals Reforms Act of 2021, which includes any subsequent amendments.
They have also instructed them for taking up the responsibilities within the period of thirty days.
