A day after the Winter Session of Parliament was adjourned sine die; Union Minister Pralhad Joshi launched a scathing attack on opposition leaders for the suspension of MPs from both Houses, asserting that they themselves requested the suspension.
Addressing a press briefing in the national capital, Joshi highlighted the passage of 19 bills on Thursday, including the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023.
“Under the leadership of PM Modi, three bills—Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023; Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023; and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023—were passed in Parliament yesterday. A total of 19 bills were passed in Parliament during the winter session,” stated the Union Minister.
Joshi criticized the opposition for the suspension of MPs, stating, “They themselves came and said to suspend them.
