On behalf of Sahitya Vigyan Kendra, Gurdas Singh Das’s poetry collection “Rooh-e-Jazbaat” was released at TS Central State Library yesterday. The event saw the presence of famous ghazal writer Gurcharan Kaur Kochhar, senior litterateur Prem Vij, litterateur Dr. Vinod Sharma, librarian Dr. Neeza Singh, Gurdarshan Singh Bhavi, and Dr. Avtar Singh Pantag. President Gurdarshan Bhavi welcomed the guests, and the program was conducted by Devendra Kaur Dhillon.
The papers on the book were presented by Vimla Guglani and Paramjit Param. Kochhar praised the book, highlighting family ties to the writing. Prem Vij mentioned that the poet encompassed home, family, and the country in his poems.
Dr. Vinod Sharma commended the national spirit reflected in the poet’s work.
