PM releases 8 Cheetahs in MP’s National Park

Prime Minister Narendra Modi released eight Cheetahs from Namibia in Madhya Pradesh’s Kuno National Park on Saturday. The arrival of the big cats in India has been dubbed “historic,” as Cheetahs became extinct in the country in 1952, and coincides with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 72nd birthday celebrations across the country.

“On his birthday, there couldn’t be a better gift for Madhya Pradesh,” chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said earlier. “The cheetah had become extinct.” This is the century’s most remarkable achievement for wildlife. This would increase tourism. On behalf of the state, we thank Prime Minister Modi.”

Five of the eight cheetahs are females between the ages of 2 and 5, and three are males between the ages of 4.5 and 5.5. The big cats were flown to the national park on Air Force choppers after a Boeing 747-400 plane landed in Gwalior around 7:55 a.m. on Saturday.

Jyotiraditya Scindia, the aviation minister, tweeted: “The cheetahs have arrived in their new home- KUNO – heavenly habitat for our cats! (sic)” “This is the first time in history that Cheetahs have been reintroduced into the wild. It will attract tourists and promote tourism. The area will undoubtedly become popular among wildlife enthusiasts “He had previously informed.

The Prime Minister’s release of wild Cheetahs in Kuno National Park is part of his efforts to revitalise and diversify India’s wildlife and habitat, according to a statement from his office.
