PM Modi to provide Rs 2 lakh  to kin of deceased in Secunderabad fire

G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Development of the North Eastern Region, visited to the Swapnalok Complex in Secunderabad on Sunday, where six people were killed in a massive fire on Thursday.

Along with the officials, he inspected the scene. The Union Minister stated, “The number of fires in the Secunderabad constituency has increased. We have asked the GHMC, local governments, and the state government to take extra precautions to prevent these accidents. Three recent incidents in the area have resulted in the deaths of approximately 29 people.”

Concerning the rescue team’s issues, the Union Minister stated that Secunderabad is the city’s first location to receive commercial complexes. The structures are between 30 to 50 years old.

The illegal constructions in this area hamper relief efforts during fires. All of this should be noted.

“The government is prepared to assist the state government in any way it can through the Disaster Management Department in order to prevent these incidents. The Prime Minister, at my request, has decided to provide Rs 2 lakh financial assistance to each of the six families of those killed in this incident “The minister stated.
