Prime Minister Narendra Modi applauded a little girl’s sympathetic gesture for taking part in the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. The seven-year-old girl from Himachal Pradesh’s Una named Nalini Singh contributed a donation, which she saved from her pocket money, to the TB-free India campaign.
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) has been planning to implement the National Strategic Plan with the aim of achieving SDG End TB targets by 2025.
The little girl, Nalini, was honoured by Himachal Pradesh’s governor, Shiv Pratap Shukla. The images of the felicitated ceremony were shared on twitter by the Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, as well. The tweet enticed PM Modi’s attention, and he appreciated the little kid’s gesture.
Nalini’s name is being mentioned on social media as an inspiration. A user said that she has set an example by donating her pocket money for a noble cause.
