PG Women’s College, hosts ‘Mera Vote’ awareness campaign

The “Mera Vote for the Country” initiative is currently underway at Government PG Women’s College, Panchkula, running from March 2, 2023, to March 6, 2023. This programme aims to raise awareness among young voters and female students who are casting their votes for the first time. Various activities are being organized as part of the initiative. On Monday, the participants were shown audio-visual materials, inspiring them and instilling a sense of commitment to actively engage in the democratic process by casting their votes. Dr. Naveen Malik, the nodal officer of the electoral literacy cell at the college, and Jyoti Sharma, the coordinator of the National Service Scheme, are overseeing the program.
