Peck alumni donated 2 e-vehicles to the institute

The 1988 batch of Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, showcased their profound gratitude and nostalgia towards their alma mater by presenting two e-vehicles, including an e-scooter and an e-cart, to the institute on Saturday. This generous donation, guided by PEC Director Prof. (Dr.) Baldev Setia and supported by Dr. Sushant Sameer (Batch 88’), Chairman Estate, and Dr. Rajesh Kanda (Batch 91), Alumni and Head of Corporate Relations, symbolizes a deep-rooted commitment to fostering a stronger bond between the alumni and the alma mater.

Comprising 62 graduates who graduated from the institute in 1988, this batch’s heartfelt gesture reflects their desire to contribute meaningfully to the institution that shaped their professional journey. One of the donors expressed his intention to further support the cause with a financial contribution of Rs 5000, underscoring the collective spirit of giving back.
