Parliament Adjourned Sine Die Amid High Productivity and Disruptions

Both Houses of Parliament, the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, concluded their session prematurely on Friday, a day before the scheduled end date.

Despite the early adjournment, the Lok Sabha recorded a productivity of 136 percent, as informed by Speaker Om Birla. The House successfully passed several crucial bills, including the Finance Bill and the Bharatiya Vayuyan Vidheyak (Indian Aviation Bill).

However, the Rajya Sabha witnessed significant disruptions due to protests by opposition members. A heated exchange between Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan and Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankar led to a walkout by opposition lawmakers.
