Pakistan: 2 Navy officers, 1 soldier killed in helicopter crash in Gwadar

According to a navy spokesperson, three members of the Pakistan Navy—two officers and one soldier—were killed in a helicopter crash on Monday in the Balochistan province of Pakistan’s Gwadar. According to a statement made by the spokesperson, the helicopter crashed in Gwadar during a training flight, according to Dawn. A “possible technical fault,” according to the spokesperson, caused the helicopter to crash during the flight.

The spokesperson said, “As a result of the accident, two officers and one jawan of the Pakistan Navy lost their lives.” The spokesperson said that an investigation has been initiated into the incident, according to Dawn.
