MUMBAI: The first-ever Filmfare Awards for OTT platforms were given out recently. This year streaming services came to their own due to complete shutdown of film production and closure of theatres in the wake of the pandemic. Flyx Filmfare OTT Awards 2020 successfully concluded. ‘Paatal Lok’ and ‘The Family Man’ emerged as the big winners at the event.
The Best Series Award was won by ‘Paatal Lok’ and the Best Director (Series) award went to Avinash Arun and Prosit Roy. ‘The Family Man’ won Best Series (Critics) award and Krishna DK and Raj Nidimoru bagged Best Director (Critics) award. ‘Panchayat’ bagged the Best Comedy Series award and ‘Raat Akeli Hai’ won the Best Film Web Original award.
Jaideep Alhawat bagged the Best Actor in a Drama Series award for ‘Patal Lok’. Manoj Bajpayee won the Best Actor in Drama Series (Critics) award for ‘The Family Man’. Best Actor in a Comedy Series award was won by Jitendra Kumar for ‘Panchayat’. Best Actor in a Comedy Series (Critics) award went to Dhruv Sehgal for ‘Little Things Season 3’. Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Drama Series award was bagged by Amit Sadh for ‘Breathe: Into the Shadows’. Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Comedy Series award was won by Raghubir Yadav for ‘Panchayat’. The Best Actress in a Drama Series award was won by ‘Aarya’ lead Sushmita Sen. Best Actress in a Drama Series (Critics) award was bagged by Priyamani for ‘The Family Man’. The Best Actress in a Comedy Series award was won by Mithila Palkar for ‘Little Things Season 3’. Best Actress in a Comedy Series (Critics) award went to Sumukhi Suresh for ‘Pushpavali Season 2’. Divya Dutta was awarded with the Best Actress in a Supporting Role award in a Drama Series for ‘Special OPS’. ‘Panchayat’ actress Neena Gupta won the Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Comedy Series award.
