SHAHPURA: The ordinary meeting of the Shahpura Panchayat Committee, chaired by Chairperson Maya Jat, turned tumultuous. At the beginning of the lengthy meeting held after a considerable time gap, members expressed their displeasure over the non-receipt of the compliance report from the previous committee meeting, the lack of progress, and the absence of an agenda for the current meeting. Panchayat Committee member Sanwar Lal Gurjar left the meeting in protest, citing the non-availability of the agenda for compliance with the previous meeting’s decisions. Opposition leader Anjali Gurjar mentioned that not a single task discussed in the previous meeting had been accomplished. Development officer Bhanu Pratap Singh Hada assured that such issues will not arise in the future, and proper management will be implemented. Chairperson Maya Jat instructed all officials to submit compliance reports promptly and take immediate action on the decisions taken during the meeting.
