One dead, 4 injured in explosion at gelatin factory in Kochi

According to the police, an explosion at a gelatin factory in Kochi, Kerala’s Kakkanad district resulted in at least one fatality and four injuries. Rajan Orang, a Punjabi native, has been named as the deceased. The victims were identified as Najeeb, an Edappally native, Saneesh, a Thoppil native, Pankaj, and Kaushiki. According to the police, a section 174 FIR has been filed. According to the police, an explosion took place at Nitta Gelatin Company, Kakkanad on Tuesday at around 8 am in the storage area of waste cans.
