On the festival of Hanuman Jayanti, Shobha Yatra has been conducted today. SDO and DSP are alert and active for the yatra, and police has been deployed in sensitive areas. Following the violent event in multiple cities during the procession on the celebration of Ram Navami in Bihar, the Khagaria district administration has become careful today in regards to Hanuman Jayanti. On this day of Hanuman Jayanti, a procession took place at Khagaria. This Shobha Yatra began from Chhathu Lal Sadan in the city’s Lohapatti and covered the entire area. During procession, SDO Amit Anurag and SDPO Sumit Kumar have been spotted with Shobha Yatra. There were numerous police deployed on the scene. In addition to this, police officers were visible stationed in vulnerable areas of the city. Devraha Shivnath Mandali has organised this Shobha Yatra. The Shobha Yatra included Saint Devraha Shivnath Das Ji Maharaj, who was riding in a lovely chariot. This is to tell that on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, a two-day programme is to be held in which programmes are ranging from ‘kirtan to pravachan’. On this occasion SDO said that precautionary steps have been taken to ensure that Hanuman Jayanti would have been celebrated in communal harmony and peace. Social media is being specifically monitored. Alongwith, the police department, magistrates have also been appointed.
