The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has apprehended two fugitives, including the mastermind, in the 2022 case of explosives and IED material seized in Rajasthan’s Chittorgarh area. The detainees were members of the ISIS-inspired terrorist organization ‘SUFA,’ according to an NIA statement.
Mohammad Yunus Saki and Iman Khan alias Yusuf, both Ratlam residents, appeared before the NIA Special Court in Jaipur on Monday. The NIA anticipates that their arrest will lead to the agency establishing the missing links in the case and unearthing the outfit’s links to active members and sleeper modules of ISIS in India.
