An incident of kidnapping has been reported involving a newly married couple in Rajpura, Patiala. It is reported that some individuals abducted a newlywed couple who had recently tied the knot 10 days ago. Subsequently, the father of the groom filed a complaint against the girl’s family with the police. The Rajpura city police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.
Related to the case, Jasmer Singh from Bahadurpur Jhungiyan, Police Station Julkan, District Patiala, filed a complaint at the city police station stating that his son, Sandeep Singh, who had recently entered into a love marriage with a girl named Parnit Kaur from a nearby village on December 7, was on his way to village Islampur Rajpura on December 18 with his wife as part of some familial relationship. When the girl’s family members discovered this, they kidnapped the couple and took them to an unknown location. The police have filed a case against Rajkumar, Avatar Singh, Lovepreet Singh, Harman Singh, Jaspreet Kaur, Baljinder Kaur, Kulwinder Kaur, Karamjit Kaur from Alipur Sheikhan, and 3-4 unknown suspects.
