New school uniform guidelines: No jeans, tattoos; six options given

Students in government schools cannot wear jeans, use nail polish, tattoos, or wear open or tight pants from the new academic session. The government has issued guidelines regarding the color and other aspects of the uniform from the upcoming academic session. Six options have been given to schools for the uniform. These options are provided for students from first to eighth and ninth to twelfth grades.

All schools have received a circular A circular has been issued to all schools by the department director. One option includes white shirts and gray pants for students. Navy blue blazers and sweaters are specified in navy blue. The color of shoes, gray socks, and the belt can be black. For schoolgirls choosing a suit, a light gray shirt and white trousers will be appropriate.
