JAIPUR: The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has approved a grant of Rs 14.40 crore to the Rajasthan government under the Warehouse Infrastructure Fund (WIF) during the financial year 2023-24. Dr. Rajiv Siwach, Chief General Manager of NABARD’s Rajasthan Regional Office, stated that this fund will be used for the construction of two warehouses with a total storage capacity of 22,500 metric tons in Kishangarh, Ajmer district. Dr. Siwach mentioned that these warehouses will be constructed with state-of-the-art technology to provide high-quality storage facilities for agricultural produce. They will benefit farmers, government agencies, and traders, potentially preventing the wastage of agricultural produce.
