Officials said on Tuesday that four people died and seven others were injured after a fire broke out near Ramdayalu railway station in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district.
“The fire broke out in a slum near Ramdayalu Railway station at around 12 am last night. In this incident, 4 people died and 7 were injured. Possible immediate relief will be given to the victims,” said CO Mushahari, Muzaffarpur, Sudhanshu Shekhar.
The fire department was notified immediately after the incident, and the fire was brought under control after some time, he further added. The exact cause of the fire has yet to be determined. Investigation is still underway.
