Muzaffarpur: 10 children missing as boat capsizes, Nitish Kumar assures help

Several children are believed to have drowned in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, after a boat carrying 30 children crashed in the Bagmati river on Thursday.

According to reports, 20 children were saved, while ten went missing. Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar, promised assistance and said he has instructed the district magistrate to investigate the Bagmati boat capsize.

“I have asked the DM to check. We will provide all necessary assistance to families of the victims,” Nitish Kumar said. All of the children were on their way to the school when the mishap took place.
