On Wednesday, panic broke out at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport after a female passenger claimed to be carrying a bomb in her luggage.
The incident occurred when a female passenger traveling from Mumbai to Kolkata was asked to pay an additional fee for her luggage. The woman refused to pay and later claimed that she had a bomb in her bag, despite the fact that nothing suspicious was discovered in her bag upon examination.
Following the incident, a case was filed against the woman at Sahar police station under sections 336 and 505 (2) of the IPC, and she was arrested.
The woman was then brought before the court, which granted her bail.
