Minerva trio boosts Indian squad for FIFA qualifiers

The stage is set for the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers and Minerva Power will once again be on the field for the Indian team. 28 players have been given place in the Indian team, out of which three players are from Minerva Academy. India’s first match will be against Kuwait on 16 November and the team will face Qatar on 21 November.
The country’s most experienced defender and Minerva trainee Sandesh Jhingan will once again have the responsibility of saving the goal. He has a lot of international experience and with the help of this experience, he will strengthen the team. At present, he is also in good form and this will be useful for the Indian team.
Anirudh Thapa, who was a trainee at Minerva Academy, will be present in the midfield area. He is also an expert in saving goals and can also score goals when the opportunity arises. Thapa has joined Team India after performing well in ISL. He can put the team on the front foot by playing in any position.
Minerva’s star striker Manvir Singh will be with the team as a defender and he will support goalmachine Sunil Chhetri. Manvir is a good striker and has scored many goals for the team. This time also the team will expect a similar performance from him. He has been playing with Chhetri for a long time.
