Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said on Thursday that the state government has sent the panel sought by Governor Banwari Lal Purohit for the SSP of Chandigarh. He stressed that the Punjab Government has good relations with Governor Purohit, adding that there is occasional minor chatter but nothing to resent.
A panel of three names has been sent to the UT administration by the Mann government. This includes the names of 2012 batch IPS Sandeep Garg, 2012 batch IPS Akhil Chaudhary, and 2013 batch IPS officer Bhagirath Meena. The Punjab Governor now must make a decision on any one name.
