Malinga’s candidacy resurrects controversy with victim’s family

Approximately 1 year and 7 months ago, Harshadapati, who provided services in Dholpur district, changed his home and office address for the last one and a half years. His new address is Room number 118 on the fifth floor of the Dhanvantari OPD of Sawai Man Singh Hospital, the state’s largest.

Harshadapati’s condition is such that even after a long time, he cannot stand properly. The 67-year-old father is sitting next to him, wiping tears from his eyes while sitting. He hopes that one day his son will reach home on his own feet. But, for now, his son is unable to walk properly.

The reason this old matter is being brought up again is that the BJP has given a ticket to Bari legislator Giriraj Singh Malinga. In this situation, Harshadapati’s father, Mukesh Valmiki, is furious and very upset. He says that when this matter happened, senior BJP leaders, including Rajendra Rathore, Satish Poonia, and others, visited the hospital and expressed deep sorrow. But now, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat is hugging him to win one seat. He says that the BJP’s strategy, character, and face are now evident.

“BJP only shows love for Dalits” 67-year-old Mukesh Valmiki says that the Bharatiya Janata Party only shows love for Dalits. He thanked Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and said that because of the atrocities against his son, the Congress has decided not to give a ticket to Bari legislator Giriraj Singh Malinga. But now, the BJP has given a ticket and proved that they have become a party that harbours criminals. He says that the entire society will teach the BJP a lesson.

Lying on the bed, Harshadapati says that so far there have been more than 15 operations. He talks about unbearable pain and suffering. He also says that the cottage ward has now become his home. A smiling photo of Harshadapati is framed and placed in the window by his family. His father hopes that this photo will inspire AEN Harshadapati to stand up again. At the same time, AEN, who keeps medical books, has placed books on different topics on the table where medicine is kept. Most of the time, he is busy reading books.

Valmiki society will campaign against the BJP by going door-to-door
Meanwhile, Nandkishor Dandoria, the state president of the United Valmiki and Safai Workers Union, said, “The Valmiki society people work in sanitation. Probably there is no house that they have not reached. In this situation, the Bharatiya Janata Party, by giving a ticket to Malinga, has proved that they are against the Valmiki society.” Dandoria said that people associated with the society will now go door-to-door and expose the BJP’s true face to the public, appealing not to vote for the BJP.

He said that at that time, Rathore had described the Congress rule as “Jungle Raj.” Last March, when AEN Harshadapati was admitted to the trauma centre. At that time, the continuous series of BJP leaders’ arrival was going on. At that time, Leader of the opposition Rajendra Rathore, MLA Madan Dilawar, and MLA Ram Lal Sharma, also reached him. They met with the victim as well as his family and doctors. On this occasion, Rathore tweeted and shared pictures, writing, “These pictures reveal the jungle raj of Congress rule.” In this situation, Harshadapati’s father has raised the question of why are these BJP leaders hugging Malinga today, who said this at that time.
