Maharashtra road accident: 12 killed, 17 injured in tempo-truck collision

Tragically, on Sunday, a road accident near the Maharashtra city of Aurangabad resulted in at least 12 fatalities and 17 injuries. Around 1:00 AM, a tempo and a truck collided on the Aurangabad-Nasik highway close to the Vaijapur toll plaza. The tempo was transporting a group of pilgrims from Nashik to the Baba Teerth pilgrimage site in Aurangabad, according to the police. The mishap happened as the tempo was reverting to Nashik following the darshan.
