Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha paid heartfelt tributes to Swami Shraddhanand on his Punyatithi during a commemorative event organized by Arya Samaj, Matunga in Mumbai.
Addressing the gathering, the Lt Governor reflected on the significant contributions of Swami Shraddhanand to the freedom struggle, social equality, and justice. He acknowledged Swami Ji’s instrumental role in uniting all sections of society for the noble cause of nation-building.
“Swami Shraddhanandji was dedicated to the ideals of peace, right conduct, self-reliance, and strengthened the bonds of brotherhood in society. His visionary outlook for a new and developed India is actively being realized by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi,” stated the Lt Governor.
He highlighted Swami Shraddhanand’s lifelong campaigns to promote Vedic values and empower women through education. The Lt Governor urged the audience, particularly the youth, to rededicate themselves to the noble ideals championed by Swami Shraddhanand and actively contribute to the welfare of society and the nation.
During the event, the Lt Governor also took the opportunity to interact with members of the Jammu and Kashmir community residing in Mumbai, who were special invitees on this occasion. This interaction served as a platform to connect with the community and share insights on the values propagated by Swami Shraddhanand, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose.
