The Lok Sabha was adjourned until 12 noon on Thursday due to opposition members’ protests. Speaker Om Birla began the Question Hour shortly after the House adjourned for the day.
However, opposition members raised shouts in support of their Manipur-related demands. Congress leaders blasted the administration after some words made by party leader Rahul Gandhi during his speech on the no-confidence vote were removed.
Members, according to Birla, should allow the Question Hour to proceed. As the commotion continued, he adjourned the House until 12 p.m. The Lok Sabha will resume debate on the no-confidence motion, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will respond. The debate began on Tuesday.
