Lieutenant Colonel kills his wife; shoots himself in Punjab

Indian Army, a Lieutenant Colonel who murdered his wife and then shot himself dead on Sunday who was based in Punjab’s Ferozepur.

Naveen Sharma, station house officer (SHO) of Ferozepur Cantonment said, ”They had a marital dispute. Their only son wasn’t living with them. As per the investigation, Dimple was hit by Parma and later strangulated. After killing his wife, the officer shot himself dead.”

According to the Army sources the couple had marital issues and a suicide note has been left by the officer.

Meanwhile, in the suicide note, the army officer mentioned that he had harmed his wife. At his residence, the body of his wife was found. ‘

Moreover, the couple was undergoing regular counseling sessions as they were facing marital issues.

However, the investigation has been begun by Army and the Punjab police.
