Know what BJP is saying on Gandhi’s return in Parliament

Rahul Gandhi, India’s opposition leader, is back in parliament for the first time after being convicted in a criminal defamation case.
The Indian Congress party’s head was stripped of his legislator status in March after being sentenced to two years in prison.

Outside parliament, Congress leaders hailed his homecoming by yelling slogans and handing out candy. His arrival in Parliament was celebrated by opposition parties while some criticized it. 

In response to Rahul’s return to Parliament, BJP MP Sushil Modi stated, “restoration of Rahul Gandhi’s Lok Sabha membership will not affect the health of the Congress, as he is still blame-free. Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav positively stated,” I thank Lok Sabha speaker for not delaying restoration of Rahul Ganghi’s membership”

Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the BJP, Hussain was heard commenting on Gandhi’s return that “We do not know if reports about the date Rahul Gandhi is coming on are true.”

He further added, “No Congress spokesperson has made any statement to this effect. What plane is he coming on, when will he meet (others), if his vacation is finally over… this all will be discussed when he does finally come back.”
