Vikram Athwal, a 35-year-old employee of a garbage collecting company who was arrested for the murder of a 23-year-old air hostess at her Andheri apartment, committed suicide after falling into a deep melancholy. He was heard telling the guard at the Andheri (E) jail that he shouldn’t have killed the victim.
