Khachariyawas: BJP’s old agenda is no longer effective

While addressing a press conference on Tuesday, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas took aim at the BJP, stating that the BJP has tarnished its reputation by indulging in deceit and deception in politics across the country.
He pointed out, “Out of Rajasthan’s 25 Members of Parliament, three of them are Central Ministers, yet they have not been able to bring a single plan for Rajasthan. Rajasthan has not received its due, and the prominent BJP leaders in the Centre spent their entire five years serving as sycophants, but the people of Rajasthan haven’t forgotten. Rajasthan’s public is searching for BJP MPs with torches, but the MPs’ model villages have turned into empty promises.”
Khachariyawas also mentioned that it’s the BJP’s responsibility to present the work done in the nine years of the BJP government at the Centre to the people and allow them to compare it with Congress’s achievements.
Continuing his speech, Khachariyawas said that the BJP must answer for the lies and deceit it has committed against the people of the state. He said, “The rising prices of petrol, diesel, and gas have burdened the public, and while crude oil was priced at $138 per barrel in the international market, Manmohan Singh’s government was providing petrol below Rs 70 per litre. Today, with crude oil prices remaining at around $90 per barrel in the international market, petrol has crossed Rs 100, and diesel is close to Rs 100. The Centre filled its coffers by imposing excise duties, cutting into the people’s wallets. The people are suffering, but the BJP wants to win elections by spreading misinformation, and fake videos, creating religious conflicts, and diverting attention from hunger and pain. This is the BJP’s old agenda, and the public sees through it. There is no more room for BJP’s conspiracies.”
Khachariyawas emphasised that they have implemented successful schemes for employees, traders, labourers, farmers, and students. He said that their work and schemes have become popular among the public, and the people are with them, which is why, Congress will form the government in Rajasthan again.
