Kerala :Five more samples test negative for Nipah virus

The office of Kerala’s health minister said in a statement on Sunday that testing on five further samples sent for lab analysis had come back negative for the Nipah virus.
The office of Kerala’s Health Minister Veena George released a statement stating that samples taken from five individuals tested “negative” for the Nipah virus.
“No reports of new instances are made. 915 individuals are being held in isolation in their homes, the statement continued.

Also, Minister Veena George analysed the current situation in the core committee meeting this morning.
Earlier in a press briefing, Minister Veena George said that the state government has decided to strengthen the healthcare system.
