Karnataka set to ink 12 MoUs with GIA partner countries

The Bengaluru Tech Summit-2020 (BTS-2020) which will be held from November 19-21, will provide a platform for about 50 startups of India to expand to the European market and Karnataka on this occasion would ink 12 MoUs with partner countries of Global Innovation Alliance (GIA), said Deputy Chief Minister Dr C.N. Ashwatha Narayana, who is also the minister of Electronics, IT, BT, and S&T.

He stated this in a press conference on Monday, in presence of representatives of several countries of GIA.

Narayana Said, “The Hague Business Agency will launch a “Digital Soft-Landing” program for Indian start-ups, during this year’s BTS. This program will enable some 50 Indian tech startups to take their technology to Europe. Holland is the gateway to Europe for goods and services, and for technology as well. In addition to this, two MoU’s will be signed in the areas of cybersecurity and Agri-tech, where both sides will be working together on mentorship, honing skills, start-ups, and R&D.”

There has been a prominent response from the sectors of AI, cybersecurity, health care, 5G, robotics, machine learning, space, agri-tech, defence technology, More than 25 countries, 15 GIA sessions, 10 minister-level delegates, 60+ GIA speakers, 500+ international delegates will be witness to this flagship event, he informed.
