The women’s e-empowerment program was organised at Kanoria PG Women’s College on Thursday. This event was organised by the Knowledge Advancement Club of the college. The event is financially supported by the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of Control S Data Centre, Hyderabad.
The program started with the welcome speech of college principal Dr. Seema Aggarwal. Dr. Deepti Shukla, Coordinator of the Knowledge Advancement Club informed about the objectives of this program. During this, smartphones were gifted to 100 female students preparing for various competitive examinations in the college.
Rajasthan Education Secretary Naveen Jain was the chief guest of the program. Managing Director of Control S Data Centre, Rajeev Trivedi, who was the guest of honour, said that smartphones in the hands of female students provide them with great opportunities for learning outside the classrooms, and will prove helpful in taking them to the heights of their career.
College Director Dr. Rashmi Chaturvedi said that the ‘e-Empowerment’ program is an important step towards digital literacy. At the end of the program, Co-ordinator of Knowledge Advancement Club, Dr. Anita Gajraj thanked everyone present including Chief Guest Naveen Jain and Managing Director of Control S Data Center Rajeev Trivedi.
