‘Kalki 2898 AD’: Deepika Padukone Radiates Intensity In Poster

Ahead of the trailer launch, the creators of the much-awaited sci-fi thriller ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ revealed an enticing poster featuring Deepika Padukone. Deepika shared a glimpse of her upcoming film with fans, donning a torn shawl-like attire in the image.

The poster exudes intensity as Deepika’s expression captivates the audience.

Sharing the poster, she wrote, “The hope begins with her. #Kalki2898AD Trailer out Tomorrow.”

Following the poster reveal, fans and members of the industry flooded the comment section with their reactions.

The film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is helmed by Nag Ashwin.

In a recent development, the teaser featuring Amitabh Bachchan’s appearance in the sci-fi dystopian movie was unveiled during an exciting Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).

The 21-second teaser showcased Amitabh Bachchan in a cave adorned with warm earthy hues. He was depicted sitting in front of a Shiva linga, engaged in prayer, and his body was wrapped in bandages.

In the brief clip, one can also see a young kid asking Big B, ‘Kya tum bhagwan ho, kya tum marr nahi sakte? Tum Bhagwan ho? Kaun ho Tum? To which his character replied, “Dwapar yug se Dash avatar ki pratiksha kar raha hoon main, Dronacharya ka putra Ashwatthama.” (Since the Dwapar Yug, I have waited for the Dasavatar.)

The movie is described as a futuristic sci-fi spectacle with influences from mythology. Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani are also included in the ensemble cast of ‘Kalki’.
‘Kalki’ is produced by Vyjayanthi Movies and is scheduled to hit theaters on June 27, 2024.
