Journalists honour Gopal Sharma for his political milestone

Senior journalist Gopal Sharma was honoured on Tuesday at the Pink City Press Club by various journalist organisations for being elected as the MLA from the Civil Lines constituency. On this occasion, senior journalist Milap Chand Dandiya was also present. Journalists congratulated Gopal Sharma warmly.
On the occasion of being honoured among one’s own, Gopal Sharma said that for him, this day is even more joyful than going to the assembly. Beginning political life after the journey of journalism, he is experiencing the pride of enjoying among his own. He said that he would prioritise solving all the problems of journalists. He also said, “The journalists of the state, amid shortages and limited resources, have achieved the best journalism while laughing. Commitment to truth is the first identity of journalism. The journalists here have made a separate identity in the state. An attempt was made to underestimate the reputation of the journalist in this election, but the journalists have given a reasonable answer to it.”
