J&K: NIA attaches property of Hizbul terrorist

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday attached the property of Basit Reshi, a terrorist, who belonged to the proscribed terror outfit Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HM), in the Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

NIA attached the property of Basit Reshi, who is currently in Pakistan and has been declared a terrorist under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 (UAPA). Basit, a resident of Yemberzalwari had executed an attack on a police guard post in the Tujar Sharief area on August 18, 2015, in which a cop and a civilian were killed.
