In view of Christmas Day on December 25th, under the leadership of Father Jitendra Sarovar, the Christian community in Jalandhar is organizing a religious procession on December 19th. This procession, titled ‘Church of Signs and Wonders,’ will commence from Nakaodar Road near the TV Tower Colony Khambra Colony, Jalandhar, and will conclude at Patel Chowk.
Approximately 18 to 20 thousand people from the Christian community are expected to participate in this procession.
To ensure smooth traffic management during this procession, the Jalandhar Traffic Police Commissionerate has diverted traffic from the following points between 10 AM to 10 PM:

13. Shastri Chowk towards Ladowali Road/Court Chowk

15. Near Preet Hotel Mod
16. Near Shakti Nagar, Parvati Jain School towards Basti Adda Chowk
17. T-Point Jail Chowk

During the procession, general vehicular movement will be restricted along these routes from 10 AM to 10 PM. Drivers and the public are urged to use alternative routes and link roads to avoid traffic congestion on December 19th, instead of using the designated route for the procession.
