In a video conferencing session held at the Health Building in the state on Saturday, discussions encompassing the progress of the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ and reviews of various topics, including COVID management, took place. Shubhra Singh, Additional Chief Secretary of the Medical and Health Department, emphasized the department’s commitment to public welfare, affirming that officers and staff work with empathy to enhance health facilities for the public.
Singh directed a prompt achievement of set goals in the ongoing ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra,’ emphasizing the need for effective COVID management at all levels. She stressed the importance of maintaining an adequate supply of health facilities, from medical colleges to CHCs and PHCs, and urged the Health Department to ensure the benefits of health schemes reach every corner, aligning with the state government’s motto of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Vikas.’
The Additional Chief Secretary also conducted a review of the Ayushman Bharat-Mukhyamantri Chiranjivi Swasthya Bima Yojana. Shuchi Tyagi, CEO of the Rajasthan State Health Assurance Agency, reported that the scheme is consistently providing treatment in empanelled government and private hospitals.
