J-K: Security increased in Rajouri following man shot dead

The police have verified that there have been increased security measures in the area, including vehicle searches, in response to the fatal shooting of a person by unidentified attackers on Monday night in Kunda Top, Rajouri.

Mohd Razaq, the deceased, was the victim of unknown assailants, which prompted the authorities to strengthen security and cordon off the area, according to Rajouri Police.

Security staff have been seen frisking people and doing arbitrary vehicle checks in reaction to the event. The attackers have been identified and are the subject of an ongoing investigation.
