Union Home Minister Amit Shah led a pivotal high-level security review meeting on Tuesday, focusing on the intensifying security challenges in Jammu and Kashmir. During the comprehensive meeting, Shah directed his attention toward achieving complete area domination and fostering improved coordination among the Police, Army, and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) deployed in Jammu and Kashmir. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, the Home Minister emphasized the imperative to bolster and fortify local intelligence networks within the Union Territory.

- Attendees: The meeting was attended by Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, National Investigation Agency DG Dinkar Gupta, Director Generals of Central Reserve Police Force, and the Border Security Force. Key officers from the Ministry of Home Affairs and Jammu and Kashmir were also present.
