Security forces successfully thwarted a terrorist infiltration bid in Tangdhar sector of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district. on Thursday, resulting in the killing of two unidentified terrorist.
According to a top police official, the incident occurred when security personnel detected two suspected individuals attempting to breach the fence separating the border region. Despite warnings to retreat, the intruders persisted, leading to an exchange of gunfire between them and the security forces.
The confrontation culminated in the fatal shooting of both intruders, whose identities remain unknown. Their bodies were discovered on the opposite side of the fence following the skirmish.
