India Super Series Chandigarh unveils exciting cricket innovation

The inauguration of the India Super Series Chandigarh 2024 marked the beginning of a new and thrilling style of cricket with innovative rules. The event took place at Hotel Red Radisson Mohali and features 20 teams, comprising 10 Indian and 10 foreign teams, competing in the cricket hub of Banud.

This day-night tournament introduces a unique format following the traditions of ODI and T20 cricket, aiming to captivate audiences with its distinctive rules. Originating from the South African league, this format features teams with eight players each, playing an over of 5 balls. Notably, two players can be dismissed on a single ball, and the last batsman has the opportunity to complete their innings.

A six hit on the last ball of the game rewards the batting team with twelve runs.
Additionally, the innings of this match must be concluded within an hour, or penalties will be imposed, such as cuts in overs or runs.

The India Super Series Chandigarh 2024 promises to offer an exciting and dynamic experience for both players and spectators alike.
