In show of strength in Jind district, INLD holds women’s conference at Uchana

In Jind district, Indian National Lok Dal has once again succeeded in showing its strength in the district by holding a state level women’s conference in Uchana. The significant presence of women at the conference highlighted the resurgence of INLD in the district, urging them to unite and propel the party to govern the state in the forthcoming elections.

INLD National Principal General Secretary Abhay Singh Chautala said that today every section is unhappy with the present government. Women will have a huge contribution in forming INLD government in the state. He requested women to form INLD government in 2024. Abhay Singh Chautala said that if INLD government is formed, work will be done to take forward the policies of Tau Devi Lal.

He announced a hike in the old age pension to Rs 7500 and pledged to rectify erroneous pension deductions by providing the due amount along with accrued interest. Promising employment, he assured that at least one job opportunity would be offered to an unemployed individual in every household. Those unable to secure employment would receive an unemployment allowance of Rs 21,000. Additionally, a monthly free gas cylinder delivery aimed at supporting women in managing their households was introduced, coupled with a monthly stipend of Rs 1100 for kitchen-related expenses for one woman per family.

Senior female leader Kanta Chautala and the party’s women’s state head, General Secretary Sunaina Chautala, emphasized attributing the initiation of various welfare schemes, such as old age pension, the mother-child scheme, and the opening of chaupals for Dalits and backward classes, to the legacy of former Deputy Prime Minister Devi Lal. They also highlighted accomplishments including the establishment of the Women’s Commission, discussions on employment, and the overall well-being of farmers, Dalits, backward classes, and businessmen during the tenure of INLD’s governance.
